I think that was the dominoes, clinking down. One. By. One.
Oy. Welp. I think the universe is tempting me to max out my lifetime usage of the word barf in one week. Well-played, universe.
I think it’s time we declare… We’ve officially got a Gate or a Fest here, folks.
Boy one. Barfed Thursday night. And into Friday.
Boy two. Barfed Saturday night. And into Sunday. And then a second wave. Sunday night. Into Monday.
And now. The mister is in full barf mode. Bucket snuggling and all.
At this rate, one could surmise that this mama and babe will be barfing by Wednesday (night, of course). Or maybe the magical barf blasting antibodies and super powers of breastfeeding will protect us from succumbing to Brehm Barfgate 2014. (I feel like Fest implies some sort of jovial celebratory activities while Gate is much more serious. Am I right?!).
Regardless, friends, stay far far away until we can open up and air out. Or the cleaning crew comes in. Whichever comes first.
****In other, more joyful news, Harrison had his two month well-check today and tipped the scales at 6 pounds 11 ounces. Which makes him the biggest Brehm babe at 2 months. Which gave me cause to break it in down in the doc’s office to a little rendition of Whoomp! There it is. Okay. Not really. But it is pretty exciting, nonetheless.*****
