Our littlest Mister is four months old today. Or two. He has reached two months by going four months, I suppose. So he’s 2×4. And it sort of feels just like that.
Harrison has been growing like a little cherub. We are thrilled that he is thriving. He was 10 pounds even Steven today at a non-well check. Having heard that they like kiddos to triple their birth weight in the first year and noting that he’s already surpassed that goal, I pretty much figure we can coast from here on out… I kid, I kid.
He nurses 6 times a day {a Breastaurant update is in the works} and still gets two bottles of Elecare. Being held, snuggled or worn is his jam. He does not care for laying on his back, but we are working on playmatting anyway. And he rarely entertains the idea of sitting in a bouncy seat. He still wakes twice at night to get his grub. And because we’re the best third time parents, ever, he still catches all snoozes in his swing or on a human. Assuming all goes well, I hope we can transition him into a crib by the time he goes to junior high.
Not to be outdone by his brothers, H has some serious silent reflux, spitting, and also has other mspi-related symptoms, including eczema, putrid gas, and rocking his first double ear infection at 2×4 months exactly. Because of some of his reflux issues, it is difficult for him to transition from awake to asleep. And he definitely seems to think the hours of 5:30-7:30 on the evenings are for the birds as he is fairly fussy/crabby during that timeframe.
He is a smiley, sweet babe when he is rested and fed. He always sounds like he has a cold. And he likes to “chat”.
Harrison fits in quite well with Brehm bunch and I basically adore him. How happy I am that he is ours and that he is healthy. He almost makes me like infants. Almost.
