I’m fairly certain there must be a little dance party going on in Snowball’s little world because this baby inside of me has firmly planted it’s bum right below where my growing bossom rests… and it busts a move around 5:00 am and 4:00 pm every day come rain or shine. Although I don’t believe that Adam or I possess a very prominent posterior, our little baby’s definitely got back and is butting its way into to my mind (and big, round belly) on a very routine schedule. The good part of this little development is that it means that our little Snowball has not only inherited some rhythm but he/she has also rolled his/her way into what I like to call downward facing dog position (for all you Yogis out there) and is ready to pass go whenever my hormones pull the trigger. Our ultrasound tech, Claire (it’s sad when you have a relationship with your U.T.), assures us that there is very little chance that Snowball will flip flop before the date of ejection so this certainly assuages our fears of a breech babe.
Adam and I are squeezing in much qt these days with our little Brehm Bundle as we are lucky enough to see Snowball’s space 2x per week. As the 33rd week is nearly upon us and we are in full event mode at the Foundation with a black-tie affair on Saturday, juggling our schedules is making it apparent that we are about to be parents. We had our first non-stress check-up on Monday of this week and will see Jearlyn tomorrow for the full non-stress belt test. With high bp, they do more monitoring for the babe in order to make sure that the oven isn’t getting to hot for the little bun. I do have to wonder, how is it supposed to non-stressful to see a doc 2x per week? When all is said and done, we will have racked up a crazy number of ultrasounds over the 9 month gestational journey … thank goodness for insurance!
