Barrett’s Birthday…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BARRETT!!!

I am behind. I’m aware. Judge all you want. But Barrett {and all those who love him} celebrated his 2nd birthday just one month ago, on February 6th. It’s hard to believe I’m the mother of a two year old. After all, I am just 19 {er, add 10 years to that}.

In planning Barrett’s birthday gathering, we decided a few things … #1…it needed to be a little smaller than last year. Lucky Barrett just has too many people who love him. #2… I still don’t love characters but I might be willing to acquiesce given Barrett’s apparent obsession with a little mouse that America has long embraced…#3…with just two weeks left until my work Gala, the party would practically need to prepare itself.

So, we went Mickey. Sundaes on Sunday. And kept it fairly simple. Outside of the stomach flu that flourished the following week amongst at least 10 party attendees, the party went off without a hitch and mr. B seemed to enjoy his day and was, of course, spoiled with gobs of {super cool} gifts by friends and family.
