Goodness gracious. Last week was just one of those weeks. You know the kind I’m talking about… it wasn’t bad per se. I mean that as true as truth can be. There was just a lot goin’ on. So this week, our motto is, “let’s take it easy”. You hear that, universe? We’re takin’ it easy, yo.
And in turn, I will count my blessings.
Because my blessings are many.
We are all reminded at this time of year, to have an attitude of gratitude, so for today, I am going to start out this week by counting even the crazy happenings of last week amongst my many blessings. Because, as selfish as it might be to admit, what happened in the last week was a cakewalk compared to what others may be dealing with…and that’s something to think about, right? It’s a little thing that sometime makes me go, hmmmmm.
And so, the song for this Monday is a different tone than others I’ve shared. And it’s one that I love. And though somehow, the words can seem kind of sad, it always makes me happy by the time it’s through. Because when we feel like we’ve got a lot goin’ on, we do well to remember that we’ve got a whole heckuva lot of goodness to be thankful for!
