It’s Monday! You’ve made it through another weekend! No wait. That’s what we say on Friday, right? Because we made it through the week. Well, friends, let’s change our perspective and let’s make Monday magical. Or at least try. Or at least have some coffee and a banana. And be happy you woke up this morning. Because as my dad always says…it’s better than the alternative.
So maybe you’re just waking up but I dare you not to snap yo fingers to this little number. Because when you hear this, it won’t matter if it’s Monday. Or if you don’t feel like dancing.
And because I am feeling generous and just can’t help myself, here’s another tune for your listening pleasure. This song, which I am fairly certain drove my my husby to want to drink while I played it, and maybe just maybe made his ears bleed, is one that I just loooove. Partially because his eyes are a crazy mixture of brown, green and blue. And partially because it’s got a funky, bluegrass feel that gets my feet tap tap tappin on a Monday morn.
