I was going to start this out by saying this might be weird. But then, I figured, if you’re hanging out with me here, you know that’s sort of how I roll. So today, I am sharing a little vid with you to show you how I style my hair. “WHY?” you might be asking. Because I basically get mugged on the street by strangers asking how I get my hair to “look like that” which, for the most part, I take as a compliment. Okay, not mugged. But I do get questions from random strangers regarding the “effortlessness” of my waves.

Soooo… here’s how to make your hair look sorta curly/wavy… if that’s something you’re interested in. If not, because your hair is naturally curly/wavy in the good kind of way {not the I slept with my headgear in sort of way} then congrats to you. Or, if not because you don’t hop on trends, then also congrats because you are a classy lady and you never go out of style {says Taylor Swift. And me.}. But if you’re wanting to switch up the look for your locks, then watch away, my friends.
So here’s a little YouTuber with me curling my hair. Please do not worry about the obvious patching job going on on the wall. Or the fact that I make my husband do crazy things like tape me curling my hair. I am honestly just hoping this post will make my lifelong framily member, Pam Pam, not shear her locks off without another college try at this beachy waves look.
And, I might add, this is proof, when people ask how I have time to do my hair, that it seriously takes 5 minutes. I don’t know how to braid. I can’t fishtail. But a curling iron, that I can handle.
Of note, this is the exact same way I curled my hair when it was long to achieve what I like to call my “Farrah-hair-a” look. And the verrrrry best part of this is that if I curl my hair at night, I don’t even have to recurl in the morn… just a little zhuzshing and we’re good.
So there you have it! Happy curling!
