So, I know I’ve been a little bit hit or miss here and I meant to update you at the beginning of the summer and the weeks have already gotten away from me. During the bulk of the year, I keep a pretty consistent posting schedule BUT with the craziness/funness/spontaneity of the summer months, I’ve been less on calendar with posting. I still plan to post two to three times a week and will continue to update the Baby on the Brehm Facebook diggs on the daily but my MWF schedule will be a little more fluid.
Because summer is keeping us on the go go go…
With less time for phones in our hands and social media at the ready.
And more time spent on getting three little boys to and fro. And smiling most of the day.
We’ve been librarying…
Dancing and musicing…
And all of those things mean that many nights, we fall into bed immediately after the trio is down for the night. And we’ve even adjusted our morning schedules meaning that three days a week, I’m up and out before the sun even peeks through the sky.
There’s been plenty of fresh air. Plenty of Legos. Lots of reading. A fair amount of coloring. Very little screen timing. And copious time with friends. It’s already one of my favorite summers I’ve gotten to have. And while one child made mention the other night of wishing I worked and the old nanny was here with them {yes. Knife through the heart. And without me poking, he felt awful and apologized profusely. Another way he proves to be my child.}, I think that they are having a pretty good summer, too. And I know that we will not always have so much togetherness as the years forge on, so I am savoring our summer days. And our summer nights.
So, summer hours are happening here. And we’re summer lovin’. How about at your casa?
