Hola, mi Amigos and Amigas. Can you tell I took 5 semesters of Spanish in college? I was only supposed to take 4 but… well, let’s just say I only understood un poquito of what my teachers were teaching. Is that even a thing? I don’t think so.
Anywho.
Today I have infusion. I’ve been a little under the weather this week {which, makes me always think of me, standing under the word weather} and paid a little visit to get some fluids yesterday and ended up getting a chest x-ray, some saline shot up and pulled out of my nose, and of course, a little nose swab to check if I’ve been keeping up with my meth habit… okay, I’m kidding. But really, I did have all those tests done because y’all, I’ve got a bit of a cold going on. And when you have surgery a week from the day you’ve got a cold, mountains gotta be moved. And Nebraska Med moves mountains like crazy. In fact, I’m hopeful they’ll succesfully {with the help of our Big Guy Upstairs, of course} move two of my mountains next week without any blips in the road map.
So infusion of two antibodies called Herceptin and Perjeta {Herceptin and I will be buds for the whole year. But this is my last date with Perjeta.} and then, onto new horizons. But for the rest of the weekend, I have plans to lay very low and just, as the young kids said 3 years ago {and I’ve no clue what they say now} chillax.
Today, I am blogging over at Her View From Home about how technology is a little less prevalent in my daily life and how I find myself more likely to Stop. And Stare.
Will you click over and check it out? Comment, share, tell me I’m crazy, whatever. It’s how I feed my Scooter’s Coffee, Sweetpandfi, and Four Sisters addictions. Because 37.50 can buy a lot of coffee, leather earrings, and purse poms. For real.
And if you, too, have beautiful weather in your hood, please, take some time to breathe in the fresh air and feel the sunshine beam on your face. It’s the good stuff, friends. The bueno stuff, that is.
