This is likely the most common inquiry post people realizing I’m not fattening up for no reason, but rather that I have a person on me.
We’re not-finder-outers.

Adam and I have long been on the same page regarding early-reveal of the sex of your kiddos. I could go down the laundry list of personal reasons that we choose not to know but really, it won’t change one’s opinions either way so I’ve decided to not even try. What I do love though, is people pondering duration of the gestation what it is — and that is actually part of the fun! With Barrett, I was very certain I was bearing a boy. This time around, my feeling on the fetus is the same. I believe that Grin is a little guy … but this is likely because I am currently the mother of a boy. I can recall people saying they were certain Snowball was full of sugar and spice and everything nice…and this time around is no different.
People want to know the heart rate, take long gazes at Grin’s snapshots and have curiosity regarding how I’m carrying. With Snowball, I remember putting the myths to the test, and so, with Grin, I will do the same. Here goes… have fun guessing!!

I would say that for now, it appears my belly is bearing this babe just as it did the last. More low than high.

For now, I would say it’s too soon to tell but if last time is any indication, I will carry out front. I didn’t really get pregnant all over last time … hoping to dodge that this time as well.
3. Do you know the timing of the intercourse that resulted in conception?
We had sex just before I was supposed to ovulate

I don’t knowI just don’t know the answer to this question. I didn’t know it last time either. I know I got pregnant sometime between October 2nd and October 31st. That’s all I got.

I don’t knowAgain, this is just not something I keep track of…plus not knowing the day of conception, I just can’t even begin to pretend like I might know this. Wow. This is a really personal question, I suppose.

Yes, I’ve had some sporadic morning sickness (it always goes away late in the day)

I don’t knowI’ve had nausea at the weirdest hours with this little Grin. With Barrett, I barfed daily but the nausea seemed to subside in the hours after dusk. Grin just seemed to get going at 8:00 pm throughout the first 12 weeks.
7. How rapid is the baby’s fetal heartbeat?
More than 140 beats per minute

I don’t knowJust barely over the 140 mark. Snowball was pretty steady at the 160 mark. Grin was clocked at 165 at the first appt and 141 last week.
