Upon first meeting my one of my sisters-in-law {who was not yet my sister-in-law at the time}, I was introduced to the idea of a Free Pass. While she was not responsible for the creation of this idea, she was the first person {outside of the cast of Friends} who I knew to have a list of her own Free Passes. She explained that it has to be someone you’ve never met, have a rare chance of meeting, and they have to be famous.
Number one on her list: Steven Tyler. Yes. Steven Tyler.
I find the idea of a Free Pass absolutely hilarious anyway but even more hysterical to me was the idea that my sister-in-law, who is married to a clean-cut, sweet, engineer would give her number one spot to Steven Tyler. Obviously, to each their own but interesting just the same.
As Adam and I watch movies and TV shows, I will often say “he’s on my list” and through the years, the list has changed some but the person who’s held my top spot for the last 5 years is the one, the only, Matt Lauer. I can’t explain it but to say in my mind, he resembles an older Adam Brehm;).
In the post Tiger-fiasco, perhaps such things are less PC but let’s be real, this is only make-believe.
